Inaugural Mobile Film School Bowl-a-Rama Fundraiser
We had a blast at our Inaugural Mobile Film School Bowl-a-Rama. We discovered the swanky 100+ year old, organically retro bowling alley in Saengerrunde Hall, right next door to Scholtz BierGarten. It was so much fun to introduce this treasure of a bowling alley to seasoned Austinites. Everyone raved about the brilliant music of Andrea Marie and the Magnolia Band, along with the Ephraim Owens Trio. I think all would agree that the custom designed bowling shirts were a big hit. We have a few left that you can purchase along with t-shirts.
We are truly grateful for everyone’s generosity and support in making this a successful Bowl-a-Rama.
Competition is already stirring for next year. Look for Spiderwood Studios vs. Villa Muse. I know Omega Broadcast is thinking about challenging one of their business competitors, as is BottinoGrund Architects.
Plans are already underway for next year’s event, so save August 8, 2009 on your calendars. What better way to have fun and get together during the hot month of August then to be inside, bowling with friends? We plan to expand to all of Saengerrunde Hall for more indoor activities.
