OBJECTIVE:
The Mobile Film School is hosting their first annual Bowl-A-Rama fundraiser to benefit and impact underserved and at-risk youth in Central Texas.
The Mobile Film School brings media arts education to rural and underserved communities; creates long-term mentoring relationships by pairing students with seasoned industry professionals and educators; and cultivates a unique appreciation of local history and culture using storytelling in film.

DETAILS: This truly unique event features friendly competition in a bowling tournament with teams from local companies and organizations starting at 7pm.
More fun:
6:30-live music from Austin’s own Andrea Marie & The Magnolia Band
7-BBQ and food
7-11pm- Bowling Tournament and simulcast
8-“Best Horn” jazz musician, Ephraim Owens, as claimed by the Austin Chronicle
All night-Wii Bowling, and silent auction.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:
TEAMS:
The Mobile Film School is seeking companies, groups or organizations to sign up in teams of 4 to participate in a Bowling Tournament. Two teams go head-to-head (challenge a team or we will pair you up), six teams compete per hour for three hours, and the top-scoring 6 teams will compete in a final ‘Bowl-Off’ the last hour for a chance to win prizes.
Team Challenge: Does your team have some friends or know of another company you would like to challenge in a little friendly competition? Let us know and we will help you challenge them to form a team and compete against you in the tournament.

SILENT AUCTION:
Request: The Mobile Film School would like to offer you the opportunity to donate items and/or services such as company products, certificates for services, artwork, etc. for the event’s Silent Auction. We encourage items of $100 value or more in order to make our fundraiser a great success. However, all donations are welcomed.
Benefits:
-A display of donated item in Silent Auction with the company’s name.
-An opportunity to get your company’s name out to people within the local Austin community and Central Texas area.
-Association of ‘good will’ that you support a local nonprofit organization benefiting underserved and at-risk youth in Central Texas.

VOLUNTEER:
Request: The Mobile Film School would like to offer you the opportunity to volunteer for any of the numerous positions that would help the event run smoothly.
Benefits:
-Free food starting at 7
-2 free concerts
-Access to the silent auction
-Simulcast of bowling tournament
-The ‘goodwill’ that comes from supporting a local non profit organization, benefiting underserved and at-risk youth in Central Texas.
Volunteer Positions:
-Tournament: scorers
-Video Production Crew: behind the scenes & live simulcast of tournament.
-Silent Auction: coordinate silent auction and items.
-Hospitality Coordinators: VIP, Bands, Teams.
-Event Coordinating: location setup/wrap, admissions, merchandise sales, entrance security, tournament scorers, Wii bowling game attendant.
